As a Registered Nurse, you will bring your customer‑facing skills and passion to deliver an exceptional service, while working together to ensure Australia’s supply of blood products.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and interview potential donors to understand their eligibility and suitability to donate
- Provide clinical oversight and guide team members in the blood collection process
- Complete routine blood pressure and haemoglobin tests
- Set up machines and collection equipment
- Insert and remove needles safely to collect whole blood, plasma, and platelets
- Manage adverse donor reactions by providing instructions and physical assistance
- Monitor donors post‑donation and assist them to rebook for their next donation
Qualifications and Requirements
- Completed a Bachelor of Nursing (or equivalent) and hold a current AHPRA registration
- Occasionally lift between 9–22.7kg
- Frequently stand, walk and bend to set up and pack down machines and blood products
- Flexible to work varied shifts on a fortnightly rotating roster Monday to Sunday, including weekends, mornings and afternoon shifts
- Available to work shifts from 06:15am to 08:00pm
- Have your own vehicle and driver’s licence

Salary starting from $41.83 per hour plus applicable penalties, super, salary packaging and more.
