The primary purpose of this role is the implementation, coordination and evaluation of care to the patients which includes initial assessment of patients in the outpatient clinics and the provision of services to the patients undergoing electrodiagnostic studies for diagnostic assessment, coordination of patient investigations and management of highly specialised therapies.
1. MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
2.
Completion of FRACP Basic Physician Training (or equivalent overseas experience).
3. Current Drivers Licence
4. High level interpersonal and communication skills.
5. Experience and involvement in quality assurance activities and evidence-based best practice
6. Demonstrated ability working within a multidisciplinary team.
7. Familiarity with research concepts and commitment to support basic, applied or clinical research within the Department
8. Demonstrated commitment to teaching and supervision
