Field Service Technician - Melbourne Western Suburbs

Role Overview:
As a Field Service Technician with HLS Healthcare, you'll have the opportunity to travel across Victoria (and occasionally interstate) to meet with our valued customers. Your role is vital in providing top-notch service and maintenance for our patient handling equipment, ensuring that people with disabilities have the support they need in their daily lives.

Key Responsibilities:
Travel throughout Victoria (and occasional interstate travel) to meet customers and provide essential service and repairs for patient handling equipment. This role is perfect for someone based in the Western Suburbs.
Regional travel is required throughout Victoria-approximately once a month, including 2-4 nights away.
Use software programs like Simpro and MS Teams to manage your daily tasks.
Conduct equipment repairs across hospitals, aged care facilities, and residential sites.
Test and certify patient lifting systems using our internal mobile app.
Assist HLS installers on-site when needed.
Maintain your company van with weekly stocktakes and cleaning.
Contribute to smooth warehouse operations and stock management.
Comfortably use and adapt to various apps and new software systems.

Full-time, Monday to Friday schedule (8:00am - 4:00pm),
with no weekend or rostered shifts.
Company vehicle, laptop and mobile phone provided.
Skills & Experience:
A minimum of 3+ years as a service technician is required.
Experience with mechanical systems is key.
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
Comfortable using technology, apps, and software (daily use).
Full, unrestricted driver’s license is a must.
An electrical or electronic qualification is a plus but not essential.
Experience in the healthcare industry is beneficial but not mandatory.

Note: A National Crime Record Check, Pre-Employment Medical Check, and required healthcare vaccinations are mandatory for this role.
