MJM Recruit has partnered with Ringwood Haematology, a busy specialist Haematology and Oncology practice located within Ringwood Private Hospital.

We are seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist / Secretary to join the front office team 2 days per week.

As one of the first points of contact for patients and their families, you will need to be warm, compassionate and professional, while also highly organised and effective. This is a busy practice where the ability to multitask, adapt and work as part of a team is essential.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include:

- Welcoming patients and providing compassionate front-of-house support
- Managing appointments, schedules, calls and patient enquiries
- Processing billing and maintaining accurate patient records
- Filing, correspondence, audio typing and general administration
- Liaising with doctors, hospitals and healthcare professionals
- Supporting the wider team to keep the practice running smoothly
- Provide cover for annual and sick leave, with appropriate notice.

About You





Previous medical reception or secretarial experience is essential.

You will be comfortable supporting oncology and haematology patients and understand the importance of empathy, sensitivity and discretion.

You will bring:
