About the Position: As a Motor Mechanic at Unique Collision Pty Ltd, you will play a vital role in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to the highest standards following collision repairs and mechanical issues. This full-time position involves a broad scope of mechanical work to ensure vehicles are safe, reliable, and returned to customers in excellent condition, supporting the business’s commitment to premium service and operational efficiency in our busy collision repair workshop.

Key Responsibilities:



Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in engines and vehicle components. Dismantle and remove engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanics, and other parts, inspecting and checking them for defects.

Repair and replace worn or defective parts, reassemble mechanical components, and refer to service manuals as required. Perform vehicle paint preparation, mechanical repairs, and scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes and tune-ups. Conduct final inspections, quality control checks, and testing of repaired vehicles to ensure proper performance and compliance with standards.

Dismantle and assemble vehicles as needed to support panel beating and collision repair processes.

Requirements: Australian citizens and permanent residents are encouraged to apply.

Certificate III in relevant automotive or mechanical qualifications. At least 2 years of industry experience as a Motor Mechanic. Strong technical skills in diagnosing faults, mechanical repairs, electrical systems, and vehicle assembly/disassembly.

Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to high-quality workmanship. Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team in a rapid-paced workshop environment.
