Carusi & Macfarlane Projects Pty Ltd Trading as Individual Design & Construction is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cabinet Maker to join our energetic team at our Briar Hill factory.
About the Role
We’re looking for an exceptional Installer with cabinet making experience who is passionate about quality craftsmanship and takes pride in their work. You will be part of a supportive team working across on‑site installations and factory production as required. Non Qualified Cabinet Makers need not apply
Key Responsibilities
- Install custom cabinetry and joinery to a high standard
- Read and interpret architectural plans and production drawings
- Perform site checks and make necessary on‑site adjustments
- Perform cabinet making tasks as needed
- Operate basic wood working machinery and tools when required
- Ensure accuracy, alignment and quality finishes during installation
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Maintain a professional image and adhere to safety and company procedures
- Ensure all works are completed on time and defect free
- Liaise with factory staff regarding deliveries and site requirements
Requirements
- Proven cabinetry installation experience (essential)
- Cabinet Making background or qualification essential
- Strong understanding of trade practices and installation techniques
- Ability to read technical drawings accurately
- Excellent attention to detail and have problem solving skills
- Own reliable transport
- Work Vehicle to site provided
- Professional presentation and communication skills
