Appselec Pty Ltd is a well-established and growing electrical services company seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join our team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced EBA workplace and takes pride in delivering accurate, compliant, and timely payroll services.
Working on-site alongside an experienced payroll team, you will play a key role in processing a large and complex payroll while providing exceptional support to employees and management.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end payroll processing
- Processing payroll accurately, on time, and in accordance with EBAs and legislative requirements
- Reviewing and processing timesheets, overtime, allowances, and payroll adjustments
- Processing superannuation, payroll tax, and other payroll-related obligations
- Maintaining employee payroll records and ensuring data accuracy
- Assisting with payroll reporting, reconciliations, and compliance activities
- Responding to payroll enquiries from employees and management in a professional and timely manner
- Assisting with continuous improvement of payroll processes and procedures
- Working collaboratively with the payroll team to ensure payroll deadlines are consistently met
About You
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar payroll admin role required.
- Experience working within an EBA
- Strong understanding of payroll legislation and compliance requirements
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Pronto payroll experience will be highly regarded but is not essential
