Dogdayz is seeking a mature-minded individual genuinely looking to build a career in the fascinating and rewarding animal-care industry. Will start with (frequent) casual hours 3-5 days per week. Genuine prospect of progressing to permanent full-time emplyment if desired. This is a hands-on, physically active role for someone who is confident in animal management, is equally at home in a front-of-house role and has office skills. 'Must Love Dogs!'

We focus on the individual wellbeing and and social confidence of every dog in our care in an interactive social environment. Our staff are committed dog-lovers working to a high standard in a mutually supportive team.

The Role

- (Initially) a casual position (25–38 hours per week).
- Working hours are typically 7:30am – 4:30/5:00pm. 1-hour lunch break.
- Full availability is required through school holidays and at least one day weekends.

$34 – $36 per hour + superannuation + penalty rates

Key Responsibilities

- Daily care of dogs including feeding, exercising,



cleaning and supervision.
- Conducting hands-on daily health checks , writing welbeing reports
- Confidenct handling dogs of all breeds and temperaments
- Cleaning, light maintenance when required
- Customer service, managing bookings and client icommunication
- Occasional transport of dogs to and from client locations etc.

About You

You will ideally have one or more of the following:

- Animal handling experience (professional or personal)
- Animal industry qualifications
- Office and Admin skills
- A flair for sales and customer service

You will also have:

- A genuine love of dogs and commitment to their care
- An outgoing and welcoming personality
- A robust work ethic and absolute reliability
- Availablility up to 5 days per week, including weekends and school holiday periods
