A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Associate/Special Counsel to join Norton Rose Fulbright's leading Banking and Finance group in Melbourne. Working as part of a fast growing, collaborative and supportive team, you'll gain exposure to a diverse mix of high quality banking and finance matters in Australia and internationally, presenting an excellent career development opportunity.
Working closely with Scott Millar, Adele Gray, Brad Robinson and our specialist teams and offices across our global network, you will be advising on a range of transactions, including:
- Structured finance and securitisation
- Corporate and acquisition finance
- Real estate investment and development finance
- Private debt and special situations
- Carbon funding structures
- Receivables, trade, supply chain and asset based lending
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience working on banking and finance transactions gained at a reputable national or international law firm, or in-house at a leading financial institution
- Excellent written, drafting and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail, commitment to quality and good work ethic
- Ability to work independently and also as a part of a team with multiple partners within the group
- Ability to build and grow a network and assist with business development and marketing initiatives
- At least 4+ years post qualification experience
