Salt have partnered with one of our major clients in the Banking industry to recruit an experienced Senior Business Banking Manager to join their Regional & Agribusiness banking division.

The Chance

As a Senior Business Banking Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of business customers, delivering tailored financial solutions and building long-term relationships across a range of industries including professional services, accounting, advisory, construction, commercial property, manufacturing, and more.

You will play a key leadership role within the local market, acting as a trusted advisor to customers while collaborating with specialist banking teams to deliver exceptional outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Grow and develop a diversified portfolio of business banking clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business owners and key stakeholders
- Identify opportunities to provide tailored lending and banking solutions
- Achieve business development and portfolio growth targets
- Act as a trusted advisor, helping customers navigate opportunities and challenges
- Develop a strong understanding of market trends, customer needs,



and competitive dynamics
- Work collaboratively with specialist product and service teams to deliver holistic solutions
- Represent the organisation within the local business community and build a strong market presence

About You To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- Significant experience in Business Banking or Commercial Banking relationship management
- Strong business development and relationship-building capabilities
- Demonstrated experience managing complex lending transactions
- Knowledge of transactional banking solutions is highly regarded
- A customer-centric mindset and passion for delivering exceptional outcomes
- Strong commercial acumen and credit analysis skills
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and networking abilities
- The ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team environment
- Previous experience or established networks within the local Queensland market will be highly regarded
