About the Role
As our Senior Business Systems Analyst, you will work at the intersection of aged care operations, regulatory requirements, and technology delivery. You will partner with stakeholders across the organisation to translate complex business needs into scalable, compliant, and fit-for-purpose system solutions. Working within our Transformation & Technology team, you'll support major business transformation initiatives, including aged care reforms and technology projects that enhance service delivery, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse complex business processes and design future-state solutions.
- Develop business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, process maps, and system workflows.
- Facilitate workshops and collaborate with stakeholders across operations, clinical services, finance, risk, compliance, and technology teams.
- Manage and maintain project and product backlogs.
- Support Agile delivery practices, sprint planning, testing, and implementation activities.
- Work with vendors and system integrators to ensure solutions meet business and regulatory requirements.
- Assess system impacts across platforms, integrations, APIs, and data structures.
- Support audit readiness and ensure compliance with evolving aged care legislation and frameworks.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Essential
- 5+ years' experience in a Senior Business Systems Analyst role.
- Experience within the aged care or health sector.
- Robust knowledge of aged care systems, pricing, claims, reporting, rostering, scheduling, and case management platforms.
- Understanding of aged care regulatory and compliance obligations.
- Experience working across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in Agile, Scrum, or hybrid environments.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience working with technical teams, vendors, and delivery partners.
Desirable
- Exposure to AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot.
- Prompt engineering experience.

- Working with Vulnerable People Registration (if required).
