This is a rare opportunity for an experienced commercial finance leader to join a global business in a highly visible role, partnering with executive leaders to influence strategy, operational performance and long-term investment decisions across a national operation.
This is a highly visible role where you'll provide strategic financial leadership, influence operational decision-making and drive long-term commercial performance across a multi-site business. You'll lead a small finance team while partnering closely with senior operational leaders to shape strategy, optimise performance and support major investment decisions.
The Role
- Act as the trusted finance partner to senior operational leadership, providing commercial insight and strategic decision support.
- Lead the financial strategy for a complex national operation, driving sustainable performance improvements.
- Develop business cases, capital investment proposals and financial models to support operational transformation, automation and long-term investment decisions.
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity, optimise labour models and enhance overall operating efficiency.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning across the business.
- Deliver insightful weekly and monthly reporting, translating financial and operational performance into clear commercial recommendations.
- Lead,
coach and develop a high-performing finance team across both local and offshore resources.
- Maintain strong financial governance, controls and compliance.
About You
- CA or CPA qualification.
- 10 years' finance experience, including at least 5 years leading teams.
- Strong commercial finance experience within manufacturing, FMCG, industrial, logistics or another operationally intensive environment.
- Demonstrated experience partnering with senior operational stakeholders.
- Advanced financial modelling, business case development and investment analysis skills.
- A track record of driving process improvement, reporting enhancements and commercial outcomes.
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and challenge constructively.
- Solid leadership capability with experience developing high-performing teams.
