McArthur has partnered with Barunga Village to recruit a Senior Compliance & Risk Officer who will lead compliance and risk initiatives across the organisation. About the Role

Reporting to the Director of Operational Services, the Compliance & Risk Senior Officer plays a key role in strengthening Barunga Village's governance, compliance and risk management systems.

- Coordinate and maintain organisational compliance and risk management systems.
- Monitor compliance obligations, risk registers, action plans and governance reporting.
- Identify compliance gaps, emerging risks and overdue actions, escalating where required.
- Support internal audits, accreditation, regulatory reviews and evidence collection.
- Assist managers with risk assessments, compliance requirements and corrective actions.
- Analyse trends from incidents, hazards,



complaints and audits to drive continuous improvement.
- Coordinate emergency management and business continuity planning activities.
- Support psychosocial risk documentation and organisational reporting.
- Prepare reports, dashboards and committee papers for executive leadership and the Board.
- Contribute to staff education and promote a positive risk and compliance culture.

About You

- Experience in compliance, risk, governance or quality within health, aged care or a similar regulated environment.
- Strong understanding of legislative and regulatory compliance frameworks.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Excellent written communication and reporting abilities.
- The confidence to work collaboratively while influencing positive outcomes across the organisation.
