Scope of Work
We are seeking an experienced Senior Cyber Security Architect to support the establishment of a Cyber Security Hub within a large-scale enterprise AI platform environment. This 30 x day role will focus on shaping security architecture, developing AI-assisted cyber security use cases, integrating security and operational data sources, and designing effective cyber operations processes. Working closely with business, technology, and security stakeholders, you will provide strategic guidance while contributing hands-on expertise to the design and implementation of a scalable and secure cyber capability.
Duties of the Role
- Design and establish a Cyber Security Hub that enhances visibility, threat response, and operational effectiveness across the organisation.
- Develop and define AI-assisted cyber security use cases that improve security operations, threat detection, and incident management outcomes.
- Lead the integration of key security and operational data sources, including vulnerability platforms, asset inventories, email security solutions, and security monitoring tools.
- Design cyber operations workflows, including triage, prioritization, escalation, and response processes aligned to security best practices.
- Develop executive-level security dashboards and reporting frameworks that provide meaningful insights to cyber leadership and business stakeholders.
- Provide strategic architecture guidance across security governance, privacy, access management, and operating model development.
Skills Required for the Role
- Extensive experience working as a Senior Cyber Security Architect within large enterprise environments.
- Strong expertise across cyber operations, SOC functions, SIEM platforms, and security monitoring technologies.
- Proven capability designing and implementing enterprise security architectures and cyber security transformation initiatives.
- Experience integrating multiple security, operational, and business data sources into centralized security platforms.
- Demonstrated knowledge of identity and access management, security governance, privacy frameworks, and risk management principles.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and consulting skills with the ability to influence both technical and executive audiences.
Location: Perth (highly experienced interstate candidates will also be considered).
Duration: Initial contract engagement with strong extension potential.
Work Arrangement: Adaptable / Hybrid working environment available.
