We are delighted to be partnering with a leading financial services organisation in Ireland that continues to grow and invest heavily in its data and analytics capabilities. As part of this growth, they are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join their Transformation function and work closely with senior commercial leaders across the business.
This is a highly visible role where you'll act as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders, helping to shape commercial strategy through data-driven insights, analytics, and reporting. You'll have the opportunity to influence key business decisions while developing creative analytical solutions that drive business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and develop a portfolio of strategic and operational analytics supporting key commercial objectives.
- Deliver actionable insights to support customer growth, retention, product performance, and overall commercial success.
- Build and enhance automated reporting solutions and interactive dashboards using Power BI.
- Analyse large and complex datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and key business drivers.
- Partner closely with senior stakeholders to understand business challenges and translate these into analytical solutions.
- Present recommendations and insights to leadership teams, helping drive data-led decision making across the business.
- Continuously improve reporting processes, data quality, and analytics capabilities.
You will ideally have:
- 7+ years' experience in Data Analytics, Commercial Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related field.
- Strong experience delivering customer, product, market, or commercial analysis that has driven business outcomes.
- Advanced Power BI skills, including DAX and Power Query.
- Strong SQL skills with experience extracting, analysing, and manipulating data.
- Experience working with large datasets and ETL processes.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior decision makers.
- A naturally curious and commercially minded approach to problem-solving.
- Financial services experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established organisation with a strong reputation, a collaborative culture, and significant investment in its data capabilities.
You'll gain exposure to senior leadership, work on high-impact commercial initiatives, and have the opportunity to shape how data influences decision-making across the business. The role offers genuine scope for growth and development within a business that values innovation, continuous improvement, and high performance and also work closely with an excellent manager.
