We're a Databricks-native consultancy operating across ANZ. We build data and AI platforms that deliver real outcomes for enterprise clients - not proof-of-concepts that gather dust. We're growing, and we need robust Data Engineers to grow with us.

You'll work across multiple client engagements, building and optimising data pipelines, lakehouse architectures, and cloud-native data platforms on Databricks. This is a hands-on role with real delivery ownership. You'll work alongside Manuka AI architects and engineers, and directly with client teams, from day one.

Prior consulting or client-facing experience is a plus. We value people who can build and communicate.

What you'll own:

- Design and build high-performance, scalable data pipelines and cloud-native architectures on Databricks
- Develop efficient data solutions using Apache Spark, Delta Lake, and Delta Live Tables
- Implement data quality, lineage, and governance best practices across client platforms
- Automate data workflows using Python, Scala, or SQL
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts,



and engineers to deliver end-to-end data solutions
- Contribute to Manuka AI's internal accelerators, reusable IP, and delivery playbooks

What we're looking for:

- 3+ years in data engineering, big data, or cloud data solutions
- Strong Python, Scala, or SQL skills with proven pipeline development experience
- Hands-on Databricks experience - Spark, Delta Lake, and modern ELT/ETL patterns
- Cloud platform experience on AWS or Azure
- Solid understanding of data lakes, warehouse solutions, and modern data architecture
- A problem-solver who takes ownership and ships outcomes
- Databricks certifications are well regarded.
