Role Description This full-time Occupational Therapist role is hybrid, based in Brisbane, QLD, with a mix of in-person client and community based sessions, documentation, and telehealth where appropriate. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing and implementing individual therapy plans, and delivering evidence-informed interventions to support clients’ functional skills and participation. The role involves working with children and adults in clinic, school, home, and community settings, and maintaining clear, timely clinical documentation and reports. The Occupational Therapist will collaborate closely with families, educators, and other health professionals, contribute to service improvement initiatives,



and participate in regular supervision and professional development. Flexibility, professional integrity, and a collaborative approach are important to success in this position.

Qualifications

- Strong clinical skills in Occupational Therapy, including assessment, intervention planning, and outcome evaluation.
- Knowledge of Rehabilitation principles and approaches to support functional independence and participation.
- Understanding of medicine fundamentals relevant to occupational therapy practice, including common conditions and multidisciplinary care.
- Excellent Communication skills, including clear documentation, report writing, and collaborative work with clients, families, and professionals.
- Experience or strong interest in paediatrics, including supporting children in home, school, and community environments.
- Recognised degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration or eligibility for registration with the relevant skilled board or authority.
- Commitment to evidence-informed practice, ethical standards, and ongoing professional development.
- Ability to manage a caseload, prioritise tasks, and work effectively in both onsite and remote settings.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally for community-based sessions, if required.
