Third generation egg farm seeking a motivated and experienced Grading Floor Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our grading floor. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient production, maintaining high-quality standards, leading a team of grading staff, and ensuring compliance with workplace safety and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the grading floor.

Ensure production targets and schedules are achieved efficiently.

Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with quality assurance and food safety standards.

Lead, train, mentor, and support grading floor employees.

Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing health, safety, and biosecurity procedures.

Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant industry regulations.

Coordinate with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Warehousing, and other departments to optimise workflow.

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce waste,



and improve operational performance.

Prepare reports on production, quality, staffing, and operational performance.

Skills and Experience

Previous supervisory experience in a production, manufacturing, food processing, or grading environment.

Solid leadership and team management skills.

Excellent organisational, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.

Knowledge of quality assurance, food safety, and workplace health and safety standards.

Warehouse & distribution management skills.

Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and make sound decisions under pressure.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production reporting systems is an advantage.

Technical and mechanical skills (preferred)

Qualifications

Relevant industry experience may be considered in place of formal qualifications.
