About the role
As a Teaching Fellow (Information Technology),you'lljoin the School ofTechnology,whereyou'llinspire and support the next generation ofITprofessionals.You'llteachacrossour BachelorandMaster of Information Technology programs, delivering engaging learning experiences in subjects such as Programming Languages, Intelligent Systems, Software Engineering and Development, Smart Industry Applications, Machine Learning, Computer Architecture and Operating Systems, Data Science, and Cloud Foundations and Architecture.

What you’ll bring
A postgraduate qualification (Master'sor PhD) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a closely related discipline isrequired; a PhD (completed or nearing completion) is highly preferred.
Demonstratedexpertisein one or more core Information Technology disciplines, including Software Engineering, Programming, Cloud Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Enterprise Systems, Digital Transformation, or related computing fields,
supported by strong theoretical knowledge and current technical skills.
Current industry experience in Information Technology or a closely related field, with the ability to integrate contemporary technologies, commercial ICT practices, and authentic, technology-enhanced teaching into the student learning experience. Professional membership (e.g. ACS) and relevant industry certifications (such as AWS, Azure, Cisco CCNA, CISSP, CEH, Scrum Master, PMP, or CompTIA Security+) are highly regarded, together with a demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and maintaining currency with emerging technologies and industry standards.
Strong facilitation skills across online and face-to-face learning environmentsin Higher Education
Experience using learning technologies and digital tools to enhance teaching
Confidence using, or enthusiasm for adopting, AI-enabled approaches in education
Experience designing engaging learning and assessment activities
A student-centredapproach to teaching and learning
Strong communicationand collaboration skills
A growth mindset and commitment to continuous professional learning
Relevant postgraduate qualifications (or working towards completion)
