We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Field Detailer to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work predominantly in the field, supporting major electrical infrastructure projects across Melbourne's growth corridors.

What You'll Be Doing

- Conducting field-based detailing work across Melbourne's Northern and Western growth areas, including Geelong, with occasional travel to Melbourne's South-Eastern suburbs.
- Collecting electrical asset information using GPS technology and manual field methods.
- Liaising and communicating with contractors and project stakeholders.
- Coordinating detailing activities with fellow field detailers and internal teams.
- Ensuring compliance with Electrical Utility detailing requirements, standards, and procedures.
- Completing site inspections and asset verification checks within required project timeframes.
- Working both independently and collaboratively as part of a high-performing team.
- Wearing supplied uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

About You

- A strong commitment to safety, quality, and professionalism.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively to a team environment.
- A current and valid Victorian Driver's Licence (mandatory).
- Previous experience in the Electrical and/or Civil Construction industry will be highly regarded but is not essential.
- Surveying, GPS, or spatial data training, education or passon will be highly regarded.

Location

This is a predominantly field-based role servicing projects throughout Melbourne's Northern and Western growth corridors. Minimal office attendance is required, with our head office located in Mount Waverley.
