Role Summary

As Manager – Compliance Frameworks and Policies, you will strengthen and embed BOQ’s Compliance Risk Management Framework (CRMF) across the Group. You will support the design, implementation, and continuous enhancement of frameworks, policies, processes and initiatives that enable effective identification, assessment and management of compliance and regulatory risks. This role is central to ensuring the bank meets its regulatory obligations while fostering a robust culture of compliance and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement and continuously enhance compliance frameworks, policies, processes and initiatives.
- Lead initiatives to enhance key CRMF capabilities, including obligations management, regulatory change, compliance training and compliance control libraries.
- Develop practical, scalable compliance solutions and drive the consistent application of policies, procedures, controls, monitoring and reporting across the organisation in line with the three-lines‑of‑defence model.
- Oversee and embed critical compliance policies and standards relating to Conflicts of Interest, Anti‑Bribery and Corruption, and Market Misconduct.
- Maintain compliance registers, coordinate attestation and control testing activities, and work with stakeholders to integrate compliance risk considerations into business processes, systems and decisions.
- Support regulatory change management activities, including horizon scanning, impact assessments and translation of regulatory requirements into actionable business outcomes.
- Partner with Line 1 Risk and Compliance, Legal, Regulatory Affairs, Operational Risk and business leaders to build compliance capability,



promote a proactive risk culture and ensure the organisation is well positioned to navigate an evolving regulatory environment.

Qualifications

- Experienced compliance professional with a banking or financial services background and Line 2 Compliance experience.
- Strong understanding of compliance risk management frameworks, regulatory change, obligations management, and policy governance.
- Ability to independently drive initiatives that strengthen compliance outcomes while balancing business needs and customer impacts.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex regulatory and risk matters into clear, practical guidance.
- Proven stakeholder management, problem‑solving ability, attention to detail and sound judgement.
- Experience working with risk and compliance frameworks, control assessments and GRC platforms, including obligations and control libraries.
