The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer to lead its regional destination of heritage, tourism, and community significance. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping the next phase of growth for the organization, with a focus on strengthening its role as a leading destination and economic driver. This high-impact executive leadership role involves working closely with the Board, local government, and various partners to set a explicit strategic direction, enhance commercial performance, and ensure the responsible stewardship of the organization’s assets. Key priorities for the CEO will include growing visitation, improving revenue, activating the precinct, and building strategic partnerships. The ideal CEO for the company will be a commercially astute and values-led senior leader, experienced in leading an organization through growth,
change, or development. Experience in tourism, destination management, heritage, events, hospitality, leisure, local government, regional development, or asset-based enterprises is highly regarded. The role requires a confident communicator and relationship builder, capable of engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders. The CEO will also be tasked with building the capability and performance of a small workforce, making leadership and team management skills essential for this position.
