Our Lady of Consolation Aged Care & Services (OLOC) in Rooty Hill is seeking dedicated and service-oriented Servery & Catering Assistants to join our Hotel Services Team within our nursing home facility. This role plays a vital part in delivering high-quality meal service across our main kitchen and seven dining rooms, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming dining experience for our residents.

OLOC is a not-for-profit aged care provider, housing up to 300 elderly residents in Rooty Hill while also supporting up to 2,000 older Australians in their homes across the Sydney Metro Region. Role Overview

As a Servery & Catering Assistant, you will play a crucial role in food service, ensuring that meals are delivered efficiently and prepared according to dietary requirements. Working within our contemporary kitchen facilities and multiple dining areas, you will provide a high standard of hospitality, maintaining cleanliness and assisting with meal preparation.

Key Responsibilities

- Meal Preparation & Service – Assist in plating, serving,



and ensuring meals align with resident dietary needs.
- Hygiene & Safety Compliance – Maintain cleanliness within food service areas in line with HACCP and aged care standards.
- Resident Engagement – Provide respectful and professional meal service, ensuring comfort and dignity.
- Collaboration – Work closely with kitchen staff and care teams to ensure seamless food delivery and dining experience.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

- Experience in food service, catering, or hospitality, preferably within an aged care setting.
- Knowledge of safe hygiene practices and HACCP standards.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ensuring excellent customer service.
- Ability to work efficiently, learn quickly, and adapt to resident needs.
