Our company is seeking a part time/ full time (4-5 days per week) Product Assistant or Assistant Product Manager to be a part of our fun, busy and growing Product team, located in Dandenong South.

Key Duties & Responsibilities of the role:

- Create and design product formats for delegated product lines ensuring that the best possible designs are selected.
- Check product production and update production reports
- Write up quotes and negotiate pricing with suppliers to ensure we are getting the best competitive price.




- Liaise with Product Manager to write up product quotes and orders in excel
- Organise company catalogues & Product Releases by the required deadlines.
- Assist in creating design briefs for the Studio
- Coordinate FSC and packaging approvals
- Check product catalogues & product releases
- Keep showrooms up to date with relevant products and areas are kept neat and tidy
- Understand the market and become familiar with competitor products and pricing to ensure we are offering the best value for money product.

Qualifications:

Ideally some experience in retail and an office environment would be good too.

Skills:

- Demonstrated ability to manage their time by prioritising tasks and working to agreed time frames (are you someone who does what they say they are going to do?),
- Self-motivated, energetic and confident (are you fun and hard working?),
- Strong written and verbal communication. (can you handle customer demands and busy colleagues with grace?),
- Attention to detail (do you double check your work to minimise mistakes?),
- Organised (do you manage your workload and follow upso nothing falls through the cracks?),
- Competent in MS Office suite with expertise in Excel (can you manipulate numbers!)
- Experience using SAP would be ideal.
