Jurovich Surveying is a national surveying company providing services across construction, land development and infrastructure projects throughout Australia.

As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Survey Cartographer to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with maps, plans and drawings and would like to build a career in the surveying industry.

You will work alongside experienced surveyors and drafting professionals to prepare digital data, plans and drawings using industry leading software. While previous drafting experience would be beneficial, we are also open to candidates who are eager to learn and develop their skills. Training and support will be provided to help you grow your knowledge of surveying, cartographic processes and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare survey plans, maps and drawings using drafting software.
- Assist with reductions and preparation of digital data associated with lidar, aerial photography, scanning and hydrographic works.
- Assist with updating and maintaining drawing templates and standards.
- Work with surveyors and project teams to gather information for projects.
- Help maintain organised project files and documentation.
- Assist with checking digital data for accuracy and completeness.
- Support the team in meeting project deadlines and client requirements.
- Learn and develop knowledge of surveying,



land development and mapping processes.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

- Interested in drafting, mapping, surveying and spatial information.
- Detail-oriented and takes pride in producing accurate work.
- Comfortable using computers and learning new software programs.
- Organised and able to manage their workload effectively.
- A good communicator who enjoys working as part of a team.
- Willing to learn and develop current skills.

Ideally, you may have:

- Experience preparing drawings, plans or digital spatial information.
- Experience using CAD, drafting or design software.
- A qualification, or currently studying, in surveying, drafting, engineering design, GIS, spatial sciences or a related field.
