We are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to play a key leadership role in the delivery of a major data centre project, supporting the next wave of digital and AI-enabled growth. This is an opportunity to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams on one of the industry's most complex and technically demanding project environments.

Reporting to the Project Director, you will provide engineering leadership across the project lifecycle, ensuring design, technical and delivery outcomes are achieved efficiently and to the highest standards. Working closely with clients, consultants, contractors and project teams, you'll help drive successful project outcomes from design through to commissioning and handover.

Key responsibilities

- Leading the engineering function across the project, providing technical direction and oversight
- Experience with engineering and design management, testing and commissioning and completion of mission-critical buildings is highly desirable
- Managing and coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams to achieve project objectives
- Overseeing design development,



technical reviews and engineering assurance processes
- Working closely with clients, consultants, contractors and stakeholders to drive project outcomes
- Identifying and managing technical risks, opportunities and engineering challenges
- Supporting project planning, delivery, commissioning and handover activities
- Ensuring compliance with project requirements, standards and industry best practice
- Mentoring and developing engineering team members while fostering a collaborative project culture

What you'll bring

- Significant experience leading engineering teams on major buildings, infrastructure or data centre projects
- Robust technical knowledge across building services, design management and project delivery
- Experience managing complex stakeholder relationships in large-scale project environments
- A proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and drive high-performance outcomes
- Strong commercial, risk management and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Experience delivering projects through design, construction, commissioning and handover
- Relevant engineering qualifications
