Our subsidiary MAVAN (Made in America Validator Network) is one of the world's largest staking operations, providing institutional-grade, non-custodial staking and node services to clients worldwide. You'll be part of the MAVAN finance team, owning the numbers that roll up into the listed group. Job Summary

MAVAN is looking for a Senior Financial Accountant / Financial Controller to be the internal owner of our AU finance — the qualified person who signs off the numbers as the business scales. A Typical Day You'll be 2IC to the Finance Lead. At first you'll sit above the mechanics — the close is run by an outsourced team, the crypto ledger by an independent specialist, and AP, payroll and invoicing by a finance officer.

What none of them has is the business context — what the activity actually is — and that's you: the internal owner who gives them that context and stands behind the result. Over time you'll take on more of the hands-on work, accounting and crypto alike. Key Responsibilities

Be the business context: the bridge between what the business does and how it's booked — make sure the outsourced team and specialist understand what's actually going on, so nothing's missed and the numbers hold up

Own how revenue lands: make sure revenue is booked right — the ongoing lines and new customers as they come on — working with the specialist and outsourced team, and owning the chart of accounts, the reconciliations and making it tie

Review the numbers: review the balance sheet and close — catch what's off and stand behind the result before it feeds the listed group

Own the AU statutory layer: BAS, FBT, payroll tax and the tax-return process (with our specialist), plus trust and portfolio trial balances and invoicing

Partner and analyse: management accounts,



budget-vs-forecast and modelling that turn the numbers into decisions for leadership

Improve how it runs: find and drive process and automation improvements — less manual work, cleaner data, a tighter close as the function scales

Take on more over time: as you find your feet, bring more of the work in-house — the accounting from the outsourced team and the crypto from the specialist Key Requirements

CA ANZ or CPA qualified

5–8 years across practice and industry

Has owned a month-end close — not just contributed to one

Comfortable reviewing and challenging an outsourced team's work, not only doing it yourself

Strong modelling and analysis — you turn a ledger into decisions

Crypto / digital asset accounting experience — or a robust willingness to learn it fast

Self-directed — thrives in a lean, fast-moving finance function Nice to Haves

IRFS & US GAAP exposure A business-analyst streak — you'll be designing data and process flows

Indicative Base Salary Range: A$130,000–170,000 + Super
