Employment Type: Full time / Contract Solara Digital is seeking an experienced Senior Fraud & Financial Crime Analyst to support major financial services and government clients in strengthening fraud prevention, financial crime controls, and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities

Design and enhance fraud detection and financial crime controls.

Analyse customer, identity, and transaction data to identify fraud trends and control gaps.

Support KYC, Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Identity Verification (IDV), AML, and Counter-Terrorism Financing (CTF) initiatives.

Gather and translate business requirements into practical, data-driven solutions.

Collaborate with business, risk, compliance, operations, and technology stakeholders to improve fraud and financial crime capabilities.

Support regulatory compliance and operational risk initiatives.

Essential

Skills & Experience

5+ years' experience in fraud, AML, financial crime, or risk within banking, superannuation, fintech, or financial services.

Strong knowledge of KYC, AML/CTF, CDD, IDV,



transaction monitoring, and fraud operations.

Experience analysing customer and transactional data to identify emerging risks and control improvements.

Excellent stakeholder management, business analysis, and communication skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred

Qualifications

CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) certification is highly desirable.

Banking or financial services experience is highly regarded.

Experience in data analytics, including analysing large datasets to identify fraud patterns, trends, and anomalies, is preferred.

Experience with Australian AML/CTF obligations and international financial crime frameworks.

Experience with fraud analytics, digital onboarding, or financial crime technology platforms is an advantage.
