We're seeking a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering with additional expertise in mechatronics and/or robotics engineering. You'll deliver engaging undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, develop contemporary curriculum that reflects industry innovation, contribute to internationally recognised research, supervise Higher Degree Research students, and build meaningful industry collaborations within a supportive academic community.

You will make an impact by: Delivering engaging teaching across mechanical engineering with a focus on mechatronics and / or robotics engineering Developing innovative curriculum that integrates emerging technologies and prepares graduates for the future of engineering

Building your research profile through publications, grant funding and supervision of Higher Degree Research students

Collaborating with industry, professional bodies and research partners to strengthen teaching, research and student outcomes

To succeed in this role, you will also need: A Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering and a PhD in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline such as Mechatronic or Robotics Engineering Demonstrated experience teaching mechanical engineering, mechatronics and / or robotics engineering in higher education using contemporary learning technologies A research track record appropriate to your career stage, including high-quality publications and the ability to attract research funding

Your opportunity is: Full-time, continuing (permanent)



Located at either Gold Coast, QLD 4225, or Lismore, NSW 2480. Relocation assistance is available, making it easier to join our regional communities. ACAD Level B or C.

The base salary for an Academic Level B ranges from $114,482 – $135,392 per annum, plus 17% employer’s contribution to superannuation. The total remuneration package is up to $158,409. The base salary for an Academic Level C ranges from $139,568 – $160,473 per annum, plus 17% employer’s contribution to superannuation.
