About the role

Wimmera Lutheran College - Horsham Campus is seeking a passionate Teacher – Woodwork (Design and Technology) to teach Years 6-10. Ability to teach additional STEM subjects will be considered an advantage. This role is a part time contract position, with the potential for ongoing employment.

As a Woodwork Teacher, you will:

Deliver engaging and practical Design and Technology (Woodwork/Timber) lessons

Inspire creativity, innovation, and craftsmanship in students

Contribute to the College’s supportive, faith-based learning community

Uphold student safety and wellbeing as a priority in all activities

About you

Registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (or eligibility)

Bachelor of Education degree or equivalent

Demonstrated ability (or willingness to train) to teach Design and Technology (Woodwork)

Strong classroom management, organisation and communication skills

A collaborative, team-focused approach

Supportive, faith-centred school community
