As our business continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced and motivated Property Maintenance Technician / Handyman to join our team.

We're not just looking for another subcontractor-we're looking for someone who wants to grow with us and become part of the HubbyFix family.

About the Role

No two days are ever the same.

You could be carrying out general maintenance at one property in the morning, then working with the team on a complete property transformation in the afternoon.

Our work includes:

- General property maintenance and repairs

- Carpentry and handyman work

- Internal and external painting

- Plaster repairs

- Door, lock and hardware repairs

- Fence and gate repairs

- Silicone replacement and caulking

- Shower regrouting and bathroom rejuvenation

- Blind installation (training provided where required)

- Garden maintenance and landscaping

- Pressure cleaning

- Preparing homes for sale

- Preparing rental properties for lease

- General property presentation and improvement works

We regularly complete "Prep for Sale" and "Prep for Lease" projects where the whole team comes together to transform a property in a short timeframe. These projects can include repainting an entire home, repairing damage, regrouting showers, rejuvenating bathrooms, refreshing gardens, pressure cleaning and completing all those finishing touches that help a property stand out.

What We’re Looking For

We're looking for someone who:

- Has experience in property maintenance, handyman services or a relevant trade.

- Takes pride in producing high-quality workmanship.

- Is reliable, honest and punctual.

- Has excellent attention to detail.

- Can work independently and as part of a team.

- Has great communication and customer service skills.

- Holds a current Victorian Driver Licence.

- Holds a White Card (preferred).

- Has their own tools (preferred).

Experience in carpentry, painting, plastering, tiling, bathroom repairs or general maintenance will be highly regarded.

What We Offer

- Minimum 3 days per week, with the opportunity to increase to 5 days per week.

- $40-$45 per hour (subcontract position), depending on experience.
