Overview

Are you a skilled Database Designer who thrives in complex cloud environments and enjoys solving large-scale data challenges? We are looking for an experienced professional to join a collaborative technology team responsible for delivering and supporting enterprise-grade database platforms that underpin critical business services. You'll play a key role in designing, building and maintaining modern database solutions across SQL Server and AWS Aurora/PostgreSQL environments, while helping shape best practices in cloud, automation and DevOps.

Responsibilities

- Design, build and support enterprise database platforms and environments.
- Work across the full database lifecycle, from solution design through to deployment, optimisation and ongoing support.
- Manage and enhance cloud-hosted database solutions across AWS.
- Drive automation, deployment and CI/CD initiatives.
- Collaborate with architects, developers and infrastructure teams to deliver secure and scalable outcomes.
- Troubleshoot performance,



deployment and operational issues.
- Contribute to continuous improvement, mentoring and knowledge sharing across the team.

Qualifications - Strong experience with

- AWS RDS / Aurora PostgreSQL
- SQL Server 2022+
- MongoDB Atlas

Qualifications - Technical expertise in

- AWS Cloud Services
- Environment & Platform Management
- DevOps and CI/CD
- IAM and Security Controls
- CloudWatch Monitoring
- EC2 and Serverless Technologies
- Scripting and Automation

Qualifications - Plus experience with

- Azure DevOps
- Git repositories and branch governance
- Pipeline management (Classic & YAML)
- Change control and release governance
- Agile, Scrum and ITIL environments
