Senior Developer – Digital Solutions
Dynamic Senior Developer available for a 6‑month fixed‑term with hybrid work from Melbourne CBD campus. Seeking a motivated developer to build solutions that solve business problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end analysis, design, development, implementation and support of digital solutions.
- Focus on front‑end engineering, user experience and up-to-date web application development.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand user, business and service needs and apply human‑centred design approaches.
- Contribute to discovery, prototyping and iterative solution design.
- Deliver high‑quality development outcomes, showcase solutions to stakeholders, and provide support and coaching to other developers.
- Integrate AI‑enabled applications and AI capabilities into digital experiences as welcomed.
Required Skills & Experience
- Extensive experience in enterprise front‑end and web application development for digital products, including analysis, design, testing, implementation, documentation and support.
- Strong understanding of the SDLC and experience debugging complex technical problems.
- Demonstrated experience applying human‑centred design in discovery, analysis and solution design.
- Excellent problem‑solving, analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Advanced communication, collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong experience with Node.js and substantial experience with Svelte and/or React; proficiency with Python for supporting services.
- Experience with REST APIs, integration patterns and modern web development practices, including performance, usability, accessibility and responsive design.
- Familiarity with AI‑enabled applications and AI services is regarded as a plus.
