Job Description:

Due to the continual growth of our organisation, we are seeking hardworking and reliable Butcher ?Wholesale Meat Room? to join our team at Global Meats Australia. The applicant must be team player and maintain high health and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

- Portion, trim, debone, and package meat according to customer specifications
- Cut, trim meat to prepare meat in cooking form
- Operates meat processing machines such as slicers and tenderisers
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all meat room equipment and workspaces
- Ensure all cuts meet company and customer quality standards
- Monitor inventory and assist with stock rotation
- Adhere to all food safety and workplace safety guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in meat preparation




- Other duties as assigned by the management

About You:

- Fully Qualified Butcher
- Proven experience as a butcher in a wholesale or high-volume environment
- Ability to work in cold environments
- Skilled in the use of knives, saws, and other cutting tools
- Understand all aspects of food safety
- Robust interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks.
- Strong knowledge of meat cuts, yields, and trimming techniques
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy loads (up to 25 kg)
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
