About The Prospect





This is your chance to build real momentum in your trade while playing a key role in maintaining essential infrastructure across Melbourne. Due to continued growth in council projects, we're seeking a driven and ambitious Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration Technician ready to take the next step in their career. Applications are also welcomed from motivated 4th-year apprentices ready to rapid-track their progression.

Reporting directly to the Service Manager, your day-to-day will include:

- Engaging professionally with clients and site supervisors
- Servicing government and commercial sites across Melbourne
- Performing preventative maintenance and diagnosing faults
- Managing compliance documentation and site-specific safety protocols
- Maintaining and repairing Mechanical HVAC systems, including Central Plants, Package Units, and Split Systems

About You

We're looking for professionals who bring technical skill, a proactive mindset, and strong communication. You'll need:

- Current D grade electrical permit
- Certificate III in air conditioning and refrigeration
- White or red OH&S; card and working at heights certification
- Valid police check & working with children check (mandatory)
- A positive, self-motivated approach and strong customer focus
- Current refrigerant handling licence & Victorian driver's licence
