Employment Counsel | Immediate Start | Daily-Rate Contract | Sydney

Beacon Legal have partnered with a leading Australian healthcare organisation in their search for an experienced Employment Counsel to join the legal team on an interim basis.

This is an immediate requirement; as such, we are only considering lawyers who are available immediately or on very short notice.

This is an excellent opportunity to step into a well-established legal team with a fantastic reputation. We've worked closely with this organisation over a number of years, have successfully placed lawyers into the team previously, and have consistently received outstanding feedback on both the culture and leadership.

You'll work closely with the business across a broad range of employment law matters, partnering with stakeholders to provide practical, commercial advice in a collaborative environment.

About the Role

- Advise on a broad range of employment law matters across the business.
- Provide day-to-day legal support to HR and senior stakeholders.




- Assist with workplace relations, performance, conduct and general employment advisory work.
- Support employment-related projects and business initiatives as required.
- Work as part of a highly regarded and supportive in-house legal team.

What type of person will be successful?
- Admitted as a lawyer in Australia.
- Robust in-house or private practice employment law experience, 10-15+PQE.
- Able to work autonomously and hit the ground running.
- Commercial, pragmatic and confident in managing stakeholder relationships.
- Available to commence immediately or within a very short timeframe.
