As Senior
Manager, Stay Well, you'll provide strategic and operational leadership for the University's Stay Well portfolio, leading the UniLife and Counselling Safety & Wellbeing teams to deliver services that foster student safety, wellbeing, engagement, belonging and success. This is a highly visible leadership role where you'll oversee a broad portfolio including student wellbeing, safety, accommodation, student events, equity initiatives, sporting programs and support services. Working closely with senior leaders across the University, you'll help shape new programs, improve student support services and drive initiatives that enhance the student experience from commencement through to graduation.
This is a role for someone who understands the complexities of student services and can quickly build relationships, lead experienced teams and deliver meaningful outcomes. Given the collaborative nature of the position, you'll enjoy being present on campus, working closely with your teams and stakeholders to support students every day.
You will make an impact by: Leading the UniLife and Counselling Safety & Wellbeing teams to deliver exceptional student support services Driving recent wellbeing, engagement and student success initiatives across the University
Partnering with senior leaders to improve student policies, services and progression outcomes
Leading operational planning, budget, projects and continuous improvement across the Stay Well portfolio
Using data and insights to evaluate services and inform strategic decision making What You Will Bring You are an experienced leader within student services who understands what it takes to deliver high-quality support in a busy, complex environment. You're equally comfortable leading people, managing operational priorities and contributing to strategic initiatives that improve the student experience. You'll bring strong judgement, excellent stakeholder management skills and a collaborative leadership style.
Most importantly, you'll be passionate about creating an environment where students feel supported, connected and able to succeed. To succeed in this role, you will also need: Extensive leadership experience within student services, student support or a comparable education environment Demonstrated success leading multidisciplinary teams while managing competing priorities and organisational change Experience developing and implementing initiatives that improve student engagement, wellbeing and success Strong project management, stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with experience influencing across large organisations Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including using data to inform service improvements and strategic decision making.

Your opportunity is: Full time, continuing (permanent) Located at Gold Coast, QLD 4225. Relocation assistance is available, making it easier to join our regional communities HEW Level 9. The base salary ranges from $134,393 - $140,896 per annum, plus 17% employer’s contribution to superannuation.
