As such, we have a need for a Senior Microsoft 365 / SharePoint Consultant to lead the strategic definition, governance, and capability mapping for a major enterprise migration from Jira/Confluence to the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.

You will act as an advisor, defining repeatable reference architectures and guardrails while remaining hands-on enough to troubleshoot complex technical blockers alongside the project team. A focus on Information architecture/information management and M365 functional expertise (SharePoint).

What You'll be Doing

- Establish repeatable reference designs and migration patterns translating Confluence to SharePoint/Teams/Loop/OneNote, and Jira to Planner/Lists/Power Apps.

- Define information architecture at scale, including naming conventions, site structure, taxonomy, content lifecycle, and security/sharing boundaries.

- Map Jira/Confluence capabilities to M365 equivalents.



Identify gaps and design practical workaround patterns.

- Create clear frameworks detailing exactly when to deploy Planner vs. Lists vs. Power Apps for migrated workloads.

- Define playbooks for execution, focusing on a rationalisation-first approach (migrate vs. retire), sequencing, and handling complex artifacts (tables, diagrams, embedded content).

- Provide design reviews, validation, prototyping, configuration guidance, and hands-on technical troubleshooting to unblock the delivery team.

What You'll Bring

Core Microsoft 365 Architecture

- Proven track record architecting integrated solutions across SharePoint Online, MS Teams, Planner, SharePoint Lists, Loop, and the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).

- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in enterprise M365 architecture and design.

- Deep experience defining enterprise guardrails, large-scale information architecture, and platform usage patterns.

- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in enterprise governance and large-scale information architecture.

- A strong understanding of how to use M365 as an interconnected ecosystem rather than isolated tools, balancing the trade-offs and constraints of each service.

Migration & Transformation

- Direct experience migrating or translating workloads from Jira and Confluence to M365.

- Direct hands-on experience with Atlassian (Jira/Confluence) to M365 migration projects is required.

- Experience driving "re-platforming" and redesigning workflows to be M365 native, rather than executing a simple, low-value lift-and-shift.
