We are partnering with a major global organisation seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to support and enhance complex enterprise network environments that underpin critical operational sites across Australia and internationally.

This is a hands-on technical role focused on the design, implementation, optimisation and support of large-scale networking infrastructure spanning traditional enterprise networks, cloud platforms, secure access technologies and remote connectivity solutions

Key Responsibilities

- Supporting and optimising Cisco SD-WAN environments across multiple operational sites.
- Configuring and maintaining Cisco routing and switching infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
- Designing and supporting Azure and AWS networking solutions, including hybrid connectivity.
- Managing remote connectivity solutions, including satellite-based technologies.
- Supporting secure network access and Zero Trust initiatives using contemporary security platforms.
- Troubleshooting complex issues across LAN, WAN and cloud environments.
- Working closely with internal stakeholders, managed service providers and technology vendors to deliver infrastructure projects.
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation, network diagrams and operational procedures.




- Providing technical leadership and mentoring where required

Key Requirements

- Proven experience in a Senior Network Engineer, Lead Network Engineer or similar role.
- Strong expertise in Cisco routing and switching technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco SD-WAN technologies.
- Deep understanding of enterprise networking protocols including BGP, OSPF and MPLS.
- Experience supporting Azure and/or AWS networking environments.
- Strong troubleshooting capability across enterprise and cloud networks.
- Experience working within large and complex enterprise environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Highly Regarded

- Experience within mining, resources, energy, utilities or other large-scale operational environments.
- Exposure to Zscaler technologies and Zero Trust security frameworks.
- Experience supporting remote connectivity or satellite networking solutions.
- CCNP, CCIE or equivalent certifications
