One of our State Government Client is seeking to engage a Senior Oracle DBA / Database Architect

1. Contract Duration: 07 - 08 Months initially with possible extension
2. Work Location: Remote Working available across Australia
3. Eligibility: You must need to have Australian Citizen OR Australian PR
4. Require: Need to maintain Australian Police Check + valid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC)
5. Tentative Start Date: 15 Aug 2026
6. Eligibility: Australian Citizen OR Australian PR
7. Rates: $1000 - 1050 Per day (Inc Super)

Key duties and responsibilities: A senior, hands-on Oracle DBA / Database Architect to lead data-migration delivery for a State Government project. The role centres on Oracle data migration across a multi-cloud environment (Oracle OCI and Microsoft Azure), combining database ownership with target-state architecture.

Key duties and responsibilities:

- Plan and execute hands-on Oracle data migration across cloud environments.
- Design and architect the target-state database landscape on Oracle OCI and Microsoft Azure.
- Administer, maintain and tune Oracle databases (versions, patching, backup/recovery, HA/DR).




- Ensure data integrity, security and performance throughout the migration lifecycle.
- Document migration approach, cutover plans and post-migration validation.

Technical skills:

- Robust, hands-on Oracle data migration experience (mandatory).
- Multi-cloud experience across Oracle OCI and Microsoft Azure (mandatory).
- Senior Oracle DBA / Database Architect background — minimum 10 years.

Essential Criteria:

- Demonstrated capability and capacity to deliver the requirements above.
- Proven hands-on Oracle data migration on real-world projects.
- Demonstrated multi-cloud experience (OCI and Azure).
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident, able to obtain/hold a NSW WWCC and pass a Police Check.
