Your role within the team The Senior Product Development Associate is a key technical contributor within the ANZ Product Development team, responsible for the end-to-end development of highly complex complementary medicines & foods across the Swisse portfolio. The role leads the formulation, development, and commercialisation of NPD and EPD projects — from concept through to launch, ensuring products are scientifically credible, consumer-relevant, regulatory-compliant and commercially viable. The role partners cross-functionally with Marketing, Science, Regulatory, Sourcing, Quality, and external contract manufacturers to deliver differentiated products on time, on cost, and to specification.

Key responsibilities include:





- Lead the technical development of complex NPD and Existing product renovation projects across the Swisse ANZ portfolio and premium innovation launches.

- Partner with Science, Marketing and Innovation Insights to translate consumer briefs into technically feasible, differentiated formulations.

- Manage the technical relationship with contract manufacturers from RFQ through to first commercial production.

- Drive formulation optimisation to improve cost, stability, consumer experience, and supply resilience.

- Collaborate with Regulatory Affairs on ingredient permissibility, indications, label claims, and TGA submissions.

- Contribute to stage-gate governance forums, providing clear technical rationale and risk assessment.

- Support the External Innovation function in evaluating emerging ingredients, technologies, and delivery formats.

- Lead optimisation of process and procedures for PD function

To make sure we’re setting new starters up for success, we ask that you meet a few criteria relevant to the role to be considered for this opportunity:

- Minimum 5 years' experience in product development within complementary medicines,



pharmaceuticals, or FMCG health & wellness.

- Demonstrated end-to-end delivery of complex NPD projects through a stage-gate governance process.

- Experience managing contract manufacturers and third-party suppliers through development, scale-up, and commercialisation.

- Track record of navigating TGA compliance requirements and working closely with Regulatory Affairs to secure listings and approvals.

- Proven ability to balance scientific rigour with commercial pragmatism and speed to market.

- Support the External Innovation function in evaluating emerging ingredients, technologies, and delivery formats.

- Lead optimisation of process and procedures for PD function
