About the role The Senior Project Development and Feasibility Lead manages and monitors a portfolio of projects that support creative spaces across NSW, from early planning through to implementation. A key focus is developing and progressing business cases and feasibility studies that help inform future creative infrastructure investment. You'll work closely with internal teams, funding recipients and other stakeholders to provide advice, monitor project progress, advocate for the creative and cultural sector, manage risks and ensure projects are delivered in line with agreed budgets, timeframes and funding objectives. The role involves analysing project information to support planning and decision-making, preparing recommendations for government investment, and identifying opportunities to improve project delivery processes. You'll build strong relationships with a range of stakeholders and help deliver creative space projects that strengthen NSW's creative sector and communities.
About
You
You are an organised professional with experience in project management, managing or supporting projects through planning, delivery and reporting. You have an understanding of the legislation, processes and procedures that support government decision making,
and the current state of the creative and cultural sector in NSW. You have contributed to, or developed, business cases and feasibility studies, and can analyse information to support sound recommendations and informed decision-making.
You understand how to manage project risks, monitor progress and keep projects on track while meeting agreed timeframes and objectives. You build productive working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and are confident consulting, negotiating and communicating with people who have different priorities and perspectives. You're able to manage competing demands, adapt to changing circumstances and identify connections across multiple projects to achieve practical, high-quality outcomes, even when working within tight timeframes and limited resources.
