About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on and proactive Warehouse Operator to join our Bayswater team and play a key role in supporting the day‑to‑day operation of our branch.

This is a varied role where you'll be actively involved in warehouse, yard and logistics activities while helping ensure equipment, inventory and facilities are maintained to a high standard.

What You'll Be Doing

- Receiving and processing incoming equipment, parts and deliveries

- Preparing, cleaning, inspecting and dispatching rental equipment

- Coordinating freight and transport requirements

- Loading and unloading equipment and materials

- Operating forklifts and undertaking general warehouse and yard duties

- Maintaining inventory accuracy and stock control

- Keeping the warehouse and yard organised, safe and professional

- Coordinating site maintenance activities and contractor visits





- Working closely with the Branch Manager to support safe and effective branch operations

What you’ll bring

You're a self-starter who naturally takes ownership and doesn't wait to be told what needs doing. You enjoy creating order, improving processes and ensuring everything runs smoothly.

- Current Forklift Licence with at least 2 years' operating experience

- Experience in warehouse, logistics, yard operations or equipment handling

- Strong commitment to safety and housekeeping standards

- Ability to work in a physically active, hands‑on environment

- Good organisational skills and attention to detail

- Ability to work independently and take ownership of your responsibilities

- Strong communication and teamwork skills
