About the Role

Based at our Maylands Home, you'll work closely with the Home Manager to keep our home safe, comfortable and operating at its best.

No two days are the same. One day you might be repairing a resident's mobility equipment, the next you're painting a room, coordinating contractors or keeping our preventative maintenance program on track.

Most importantly, you'll become a familiar, trusted face our residents enjoy seeing.

What You'll Be Doing

Complete general maintenance including painting, patching, minor carpentry, plumbing and repairs

Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance
Maintain resident equipment, including beds and wheelchairs
Coordinate and supervise contractors
Support fire safety, accreditation and building compliance
Maintain workshops,



plant rooms and accurate maintenance records

Work closely with the Home Manager and wider CraigCare team to continually improve our home

You’ll Bring

Essential

- Experience in general building maintenance
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance Or Police Check with NDIS acknowledgement email
- Australian working rights

Desirable

- Trade qualification or relevant experience
- Experience in aged care, healthcare or a similar workplace
