Hands and Feet helps people in need through local churches. We have 5 warehouses across Australia (Sydney, Perth, Brisbane, Melbourne, and Adelaide), and we feed around 3500 people every week. We engage around 1,000 volunteers each week to help people in need across Australia. When you work with people who enjoy helping others, it makes for a outstanding workplace.
Tasks & responsibilities
- H&F; is a not-for-profit organization that collects food from grocery stores and distributes this to local communities through local churches in Adelaide. We are looking for a truck driver to collect food from stores and deliver it to local communities.
- Weekend days: Saturday and Sunday.
Qualifications & experience
- Current LR or higher driver's license with a minimum of 2 years' clean driving record required.
The applicant needs to be able to drive a manual vehicle.
- Australian work rights are required for this position.
- Must be able to regularly lift and carry up to 20 kg, perform repetitive loading/unloading tasks, and maintain physical activity throughout the shift.
- Our vehicles include refrigerated Pantechs up to 8000 kg.
