We currently have a vacancy for an experienced Chef/Cook to join the kitchen team. You will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals for our guests in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. This is a fantastic chance to showcase your culinary skills and passion for creating delicious, locally-sourced dishes.

Duties

- Preparing and cooking a variety of meals
- Assisting with menu planning and development to ensure dishes are seasonally-inspired and meet customer preferences
- Maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene in the kitchen




- Maintain excellent presentation standards and cost control whilst maintaining recipe standards
- Providing exceptional customer service and contributing to a positive team workplace

About You

- Minimum of 7 years proven experience as a Chef/Cook, ideally within a hotel, restaurant or similar hospitality setting (Please don't include your apprenticeship as time accrued)
- Strong culinary skills and a passion for creating innovative dishes
- This is a full time role, however part time or casual hours could be considered - to accommodate a successful applicant
- Full Australian Working rights or be a permanent resident.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in commercial kitchen environments
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Adaptability and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
