Medical Receptionist / Customer Service Assistant - PT

We are seeking a Part-Time Senior Medical Receptionist / Customer Service Assistant to join the team at Shire Doctors and Dentists' in Caringbah. This is the front-of-house role, where you will be the first point of contact for our patients and responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to ensure the smooth running of our medical practice.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and welcoming patients, answering phone calls, and managing patient enquiries and bookings in a friendly and professional manner

Scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling patient check-in and check-out processes

Collecting and processing patient payments and maintaining accurate financial records

Providing general administrative support to the clinical team as required

Ensuring the reception area is well-presented and stocked with necessary supplies

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar customer service-focused role, preferably within the healthcare industry

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide a high level of customer service





Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail

Proficiency in using standard office software (e.g. Microsoft Office)

A friendly, professional, and empathetic demeanour, with a genuine interest in the healthcare industry

Valid work visa or appropriate work rights to work in Australia

Minimum of 6 months customer service experience required
