We are an established highly regarded not for profit disability provider having 50 years' experience in the disability sector. Mambourin has over 300 employees that work across western suburbs, and our teams provide individualised support within our hubs to more than 500 people living with a disability. Our disability service hubs across metro Melbourne, providing a range of activities during weekdays and weekends for people with a disability.

What The Role Involves

- Lead a team in disability aligning operations supports with NDIS requirements and other regulatory jurisdictions such as work protected.
- Be the key liaison at Broadmeadows for our participants and their families, ensuring a positive and meaningful experience.
- Support and promote new customer growth through business development networking activities working alongside our NDIS team.

About You

We are looking for a people leader, someone who has strong broad leadership skills and business acumen. Someone who knows how to run a facility/site under the NDIS or aged care standards and how operations need to align with these expectations. You should have a strong customer focused approach to service delivery, and it would be a 'feather in your cap' if you have a clinical background as a registered nurse. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy making a real impact to the lives of people with a disability.

This position would ideally suit someone already managing a like disability day service or a residential facility manager from the aged care sector.

This position of Hub Manger - Broadmeadows, reports to the Manager - Hub Operations

Essential Qualifications and Experience:





- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar management role in the disability sector or aged care sector (residential or home care/aged care) and preferably relevant tertiary qualifications (business / community service management / clinical - registered nurse).
- Strong knowledge and proven experience in both facility management and disability sector services.
- Demonstrated involvement in financial management such as monthly reporting, budgeting and labour cost management.
- Strong understanding of compliance with the NDIS Standards, including reporting requirements, training, documentation, interpretation of policy/procedure and monitoring for accurate compliance.
- Strong people management skills including processes overing appraisals, recruitment and performance management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead a team.
- Ability to manage complaints and support positive relationships with families and participants.
- Strong computer skills and ability to utilise Excel, work and customer-based systems.
- Clear NDIS Worker Screening Check andcurrent driver's licence

Desired Skills:

- Clinical skills / knowledge attained from being a registered nurse or allied health professional (not essential but a benefit).
