Lead Underground Operations at a Growing Gold Mining Operation An exciting opportunity exists for experienced Underground Shift Supervisors / Shift Bosses to join a well-established owner-operator gold mining business in the Kalgoorlie Goldfields. With Multiple underground operations and long-term mine life, these roles offer the chance to play a key leadership role in driving safe, productive, and efficient underground mining activities.

Opportunities are available on either a permanent or contract basis.

The Role Reporting to the Underground Senior Supervisor (Foreman), you will be responsible for leading underground crews and ensuring mining activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with production targets.

Key responsibilities include

- Supervise and coordinate underground mining crews across daily operations
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with site procedures
- Execute mine plans and achieve production targets
- Manage workforce performance, mentoring and development
- Conduct pre-start meetings, inspections and workplace interactions
- Coordinate with technical and operational departments




- Monitor underground conditions and manage operational risks
- Ensure accurate shift reporting and handovers

About the Operation Located approximately in Kalgoorlie, this owner-operated gold operation consists of multiple underground mines supported by an expanded 4.2Mtpa processing facility, with significant ongoing investment in underground growth and resource expansion. The operation employs a combination of underground and open pit mining methods and has a robust focus on safety, operational excellence and long-term sustainability.

About You To be successful, you will have:

- WA Underground Shift Supervisor Certificate (essential)
- Previous experience as an Underground Shift Supervisor, Shift Boss or Foreman
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Experience in production underground mining environments
- Sound understanding of statutory and safety obligations
- Excellent communication and decision-making abilities
- Current C Class Driver's Licence

Desired Experience
- Owner-operator or contractor underground mining experience
- Exposure to long-hole stoping and paste fill operations
- Gold mining experience highly regarded
- Strong focus on safety leadership and team development
