Senior Storage & Backup Engineer – Contract

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Storage & Backup Engineer to manage and support enterprise storage, backup, and disaster recovery environments in a hybrid cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer and support Dell EMC (PowerStore, PowerMax, Unity) and NetApp ONTAP storage platforms.
- Manage Veeam and Commvault backup solutions, including backup, recovery, replication, and DR testing.
- Configure and support SAN/NAS, Fibre Channel, storage provisioning, and performance tuning.
- Support VMware environments and integrate storage and backup solutions with Azure and AWS.
- Perform storage upgrades, migrations, capacity planning, monitoring, and troubleshooting.




- Automate routine tasks using PowerShell or Python.

Required Skills:

- 8 years of experience in enterprise storage and backup administration.
- Hands-on experience with Dell EMC, NetApp, Veeam, and Commvault.
- Solid knowledge of VMware, Windows/Linux, Azure, and AWS.
- Experience with disaster recovery, replication, and enterprise backup best practices.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Certifications:

Dell EMC, NetApp, Veeam (VMCE), Commvault, VMware (VCP), Microsoft Azure, AWS, or ITIL certifications are highly regarded.
